Introduction
Adfrar 40mg Injection contains adalimumab, a monoclonal antibody that blocks tumour necrosis factor-alpha, helping reduce inflammation and immune-system activity in autoimmune diseases.
Uses
- Used for conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, plaque psoriasis, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis and certain other inflammatory disorders.
Storage
- Store refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C.
- Do not freeze.
- Protect from light and keep in the original carton.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Safety Information
- Screening for tuberculosis and other infections is usually required before treatment.
- Inform the doctor about current infections, hepatitis B, heart failure, neurological disease, vaccines, pregnancy and all medicines.
- Seek medical help for fever, persistent cough, breathing difficulty or severe allergic reaction.
